Juniors

Staines Boat Club welcomes junior boys and girls of all ages to learn both sculling and rowing.

Under the careful watch of Bob Slade, Ted Dyos and Jeremy Pollen assisted by Peter Harvey, Carol Goldswain, Roy Frost and Mark Lafbery, regular training sessions are undertaken from the very first time out in a boat to coaching potential junior regatta winners. Staines has a record of bringing children, often the offspring of older members, to become fully fledged winning senior oarsmen and oarswomen.

If you want to try rowing then why not come to the club on a Sunday morning about 9am and ask to see Bob Slade (girls) or Jeremy Pollen (boys).
