ADULTS
I recently undertook the Staines Boat Club Learn to Row course which was very valuable and a lot of fun. Our group of novices was split between two four person boats each of which was coxed by an experienced coach. I found the coaching excellent: progressive yet sympathetic, with lots of very helpful pointers. This resulted in really enjoyable rowing sessions on the Thames, and marked improvement of individual and team ability over the course. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in taking up rowing.
