Ways to start rowing
If you're not sure you want to join a squad there are still lots of ways to get give rowing a go and get on the water.
Adult Learn to Row
Our Adult Learn to Row courses are held on a regular basis - March, May and September.
Each course runs over four weekends, in two hour sessions.
They are taught by our fully qualified coaches. Price includes access to all the SBC facilities.

Junior Learn to Row
This year we will be running a 1 week course (5 days) commencing on the week of 29th July. The course will run from 9.30am to 3.30pm daily. The cost of the one week course is £175 per person.
During the week your child will be taught how to scull by one of our very experienced level 2 coaches and the course will culminate with a mini regatta on the last day.
To participate in the course children need to be aged between 12-16 years old and be able to swim 50m in light clothing.

Staines Boat Club is aiming to be the leading centre for Adaptive Rowing in the region.
One of our core values is to make rowing available to people of all abilities.
Each year, at our annual Staines Regatta, we have a number of entries of Adaptive Rowers!
Our goal is to work towards having boat that will be specifically designed for all adaptive rower's needs.
